On this page you will find images of Shetland Ponies from The Stow Shetland Pony Stud, performing at various shows around Scotland, in 2009, 2010 and 2011. A resume also accompanies each image. Once again, each picture can be seen in enlarged form and in for greater detail by holding the cursor over the thumbnail image. At the end of this list of notable ponies, a collage of images from the Royal Highland Show, at Ingleston, in 2005, is included. There is also an image showing a collection of various 2010 achievements by the stud.
High achievers in 2011
Stow Viola Stow Viola (3 year old filly)	Stow Viola [AUO937] Sire: Kenrick of Coldenwater (003866S) Dam: Stow Violet (AJ0683/M06-468)	Champion at Nairnshire Agricultural Show 2011. Remains unbeaten in her class and only once ever beaten for Shetland Pony Championship (at Nairn agricultural Show 2010 where she was Reserve Champion to her stablemate Stow Verity.)

Stow Cowslip and 10 year old Jenna Donaldson. Erray Cowslip	Erray Cowslip [AX2602] Sire: Dryfesdale Dynamo (AC1617S) Dam: Erray Cranberry (AK1892/M04-428)	10 year old Jenna Donaldson and the yearling Cowslip made a simultaneous and rewarding showing debut to claim 3rd prize tickets at Black Isle and SPBS shows. We hope and expect this pair to have a successful showing future.

Stow Eliza-Jane Stow Eliza-Jane	Stow Eliza-Jane [Sutherland Agricultural Show, 2010]	Our yearling filly, Stow Eliza-Jane, was Shetland Champion at the Sutherland Agricultural Show, 2010, shown here with Jim and the judge, Mr. Douglas MacArthur. Eliza-Jane was also 1st Yearling, Best Coloured and Best from Ross at the Black Isle Show 2010.

Stow Verity Stow Verity	Stow Verity [Sutherland Agricultural Show, 2010]	Stow Verity, as a yeld mare, was Champion Shetland Pony and Best Native Pony at Nairnshire Agricultural Show 2010. She was also Reserve Shetland Champion to Stow Eliza-Jane at the Sutherland Agricultural Show 2010.

Stow Viola Stow Viola	Stow Viola [Black Isle Show, 2010] (1 / 3)	Stow Viola, a 2 year old filly, was champion Shetland Pony at the Black Isle Show 2010 (shown in image here) out of an entry of over 100 ponies. She was also Junior Champion at Nairnshire Agricultural Show 2010.

Wells Renown. Champion at Black Isle Show. Wells Renown	Wells Renown [3468] Sire: Wells Vintage (2783) Dam: Wells Perfecta (9713)	39" Black. This stallion (again bought by us on the advice of Mr. H.P.Sleigh) was purchased from Mr. Ian Thomson of the Drum Stud. This full brother to Wells Remarkable (3211) RHAS Supreme and subsequently exported to Australia, won in the show ring but even more importantly bred very well for us, leaving Stow Vanity, an outstanding show pony exported to Norway and her full brother, the outstanding breeding stallion, Stow Review (4278S) who bred very well for Mr. A. Howie of Millhouse Stud, leaving RHAS winning Millhouse Excel among others and now breeding show winners for Mrs. Shirley Moro’s Kerloch Stud. To date, Renown was also responsible for probably our most successful show winning pony, Stow Black Velvet (017314) only once ever beaten (and this by a pony from our own stud). She was champion at every other show she went to, including RHAS. He was also responsible for Riverston Renegade (4466S), a full brother to Stow Review, being carried by Beauty of Cawdor when we sold her and who is proving to be a very successful sire for D. and W. Anderson’s Strocherrie Stud.
